Pay per appointment

B2B appointment setting in the UK, billed per attended meeting.

Vivin sets up sales meetings between your team and UK buyers who pass the checks you agree, and you are billed for each meeting the buyer actually attends.

A diary invitation on its own is not what you pay for. Attendance, rescheduling and later outcomes are tracked separately, so the invoice can be checked line by line.

What makes a meeting count

Four checks come from our standard lead agreement. A meeting that fails any one of them is not billable.

  • Fit: the company matches your region, size band and sector, and is not a customer or on your exclusion list.
  • Authority: the person holds a job title you named, or says they make the decision.
  • Need: they describe a problem or a dated trigger from your brief, not general interest.
  • Timing: they accept a meeting invitation inside 14 days.

Three ways a UK brief might read

A commercial cleaning company might want facilities managers at offices and warehouses whose contract goes out to tender in the next year. A payroll bureau might want finance or HR managers at Scottish firms of 20 to 100 staff. An engineering subcontractor might want procurement leads at manufacturers in the North West.

These show how criteria can be written; they are not past campaigns or clients. The tighter the description of the buyer, the easier each meeting is to check.

Before the meeting, and around the UK calendar

Your salesperson runs the meeting. Beforehand they get the buyer’s name, company and role, the need the buyer described, any timing or budget point raised and the recording or email thread behind the booking.

Say in the brief whether meetings are on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, the phone or in person, and which hours your team can take them. A UK-wide campaign should also plan around the bank holidays that differ by nation, such as St Andrew’s Day on 30 November 2026 in Scotland and St Patrick’s Day on 17 March 2027 in Northern Ireland.

Price, and what happens when a meeting goes wrong

Pay per appointment is USD $100 to $500 per attended appointment, roughly £76 to £379 at the European Central Bank reference rates on 2 October 2026. Where your price sits depends on how hard the buyer is to reach and how strict the checks are. The quote confirms it in US dollars.

If a meeting fails an agreed check, or the booking turns out to be a duplicate, carries wrong details or is cancelled, you get a replacement, not a refund. No-shows are not billed. Review windows and rescheduling rules are agreed before launch. A delivered lead or appointment can be disputed within 5 business days of delivery under the written criteria, and eligible issues are replaced.

Give a facilities buyer a reason to take the meeting

A commercial cleaning brief needs the service territory, site profile and buying trigger. A meeting can inform the buyer’s evaluation; it does not bypass a tender or supplier-approval process.

Check the meeting against the same profile as the invoice

UK buyers are reached by email and LinkedIn. Your salesperson runs the meeting; the appointment charge applies when the qualified meeting is held. No-shows are not billed.

QuestionWhat to confirm
Can you serve the site?Region, site type and any practical delivery limits.
Who is buying? The agreed authority gate, rather than a senior-sounding title alone.
Why meet now?The buyer’s stated need or trigger.
How will you meet?Format, host availability and buyer working hours.
Did it happen?Attendance and qualification evidence before the meeting is counted.

For recruitment and staffing agencies

This block is for UK recruitment and staffing agencies placing permanent, contract or temporary staff. The buyer of the service is usually the agency owner, managing director or business development lead. The meeting is with an employer that has a hiring requirement in a role family and region you name, such as finance contractors in Yorkshire or engineers across the Midlands.

The meeting fee is separate from any placement fee your agency earns, and under pay per appointment Vivin takes no share of placement fees. Your terms of business with the employer stay between you and the employer.

What a qualified meeting is for a recruiter

The four checks above apply, read for a recruiter. A meeting that fails any one of them is not billable.

  • Fit: an employer in your region, size band and sector that is not a current client and is not on your exclusion list. Tell us about searches you have open and employers on preferred supplier arrangements you already hold.
  • Authority: a hiring manager, head of HR or talent, finance or operations director, or another person who commissions agencies or says they decide.
  • Need: a hiring requirement in the role family you named, in the employer’s own words, with the source email or LinkedIn message behind it.
  • Timing: the employer accepts a meeting invitation inside 14 days.
  • Attended: the employer joins the meeting. No-shows are not billed.
  • Not counted: a job seeker asking for work, a candidate reply, a current client or an employer on your exclusion list. This is an employer meeting, and candidate data does not belong in a campaign.

Email and LinkedIn only, and the Companies House check

UK employers are reached by email and LinkedIn. Our callers phone buyers in the US and Canada only.

Under PECR, limited companies and limited liability partnerships are corporate subscribers, so business email to them is allowed when the sender is identified and the email carries a working opt-out. Sole traders and some partnerships are treated as individuals and are not emailed without consent. Before any email goes out, each employer’s legal form is checked on Companies House, and sole traders and partnerships are left off the email list unless they have consented.

This describes our practice and is not legal advice. The UK outreach rules page explains PECR, the TPS and CTPS registers and the UK GDPR in plain English.

A recruitment brief, worked through

A recruitment brief needs the role family, the region, the employer profile and the exclusions before any outreach starts. The tighter the description, the easier each meeting is to check.

Recruitment pricing, with a pound guide dated 20 October 2026

Pay per appointment is USD $100 to $500 per attended appointment, invoiced in US dollars. Where your price sits depends on how hard the employer is to reach and how strict the checks are. Every fee is listed in your written quote before you sign.

The table is a dated pound guide, not a price in pounds. It uses the European Central Bank euro reference rates for 20 October 2026, cross-calculated through the euro, at USD 1 = £0.7492. It is indicative and not an offer. Contracts and invoices are in US dollars, and the pound cost moves with the exchange rate. This guide is newer than the 2 October 2026 pound figure in the price section above, so use this one. This page does not set out a tax position; ask on the discovery call.

Questions about working with us from the UK.

Short answers to common questions about how we work.

What is pay per appointment?

A way of buying appointment setting where each meeting charge is tied to a meeting that actually took place, with a buyer who passed the checks written into your profile. Every fee is listed in your written quote before you sign.

Do we pay for no-shows?

No. A meeting the buyer does not attend is not billed. If they rearrange, the new date is tracked as a reschedule and the meeting becomes billable once it is held.

Pay per lead or pay per appointment: which suits a UK sales team?

If your salespeople are good at turning a warm enquiry into a meeting, pay per lead is often the better fit. If diaries are the bottleneck, or the buyer is hard to pin down, paying for attended meetings makes more sense.

Can meetings be in person?

Yes, if your brief says so and you can travel to the buyer. Name the area you cover, for example Greater London or within an hour of Bristol, and the days you are free.

What does our salesperson receive before each meeting?

The buyer’s details, the need they described, the next step they agreed to and the call recording or email thread behind the booking.

How do we check meetings against the invoice?

Every invoice carries a delivery sheet of the meetings delivered, replacements included, so you can match it against your own diary. A delivered lead or appointment can be disputed within 5 business days of delivery under the written criteria, and eligible issues are replaced.

Is this the same as an outsourced SDR service?

No. An outsourced SDR service sells you a person's time. With pay per appointment you pay USD $100 to $500 for each attended appointment that passes the checks you agreed, and no-shows are not billed.

How much does lead generation for a recruitment agency cost in the UK?

USD $100 to $500 per attended appointment, invoiced in US dollars, and a no-show is not billed. That is roughly £75 to £375 at the European Central Bank reference rates for 20 October 2026; the pound figure is a dated guide, not a price. You pay for an attended employer meeting, not a booking. Every fee is listed in your written quote before you sign.

Do you charge for meetings where the employer does not turn up?

No. A no-show is not billed. If the employer rearranges, the new date is tracked as a reschedule and the meeting becomes billable once it is held. Attendance and qualification evidence are checked before a meeting is counted.

Are these meetings with employers or with candidates?

Employers only. A meeting is with an employer that has a hiring requirement in the role family and region you named. A job seeker asking for work is not an employer meeting and is not billed.

I run a recruitment agency placing finance contractors in Yorkshire. What does a first brief look like?

It names the role family and region, the employer size and sector, the person who commissions agencies and the requirement to confirm, plus the exclusions: current clients, open searches and employers on preferred supplier arrangements you already hold. The worked brief on this page shows the format.

Why use a Canadian company for UK employers?

Vivin is run from Ottawa, with callers in Canada, the US, the UK and South Africa. UK employers are reached by email and LinkedIn only, and our callers phone buyers in the US and Canada only. We have no UK office. Contracts and invoices are in US dollars.

Which employers can you email under PECR?

Limited companies and limited liability partnerships, which are corporate subscribers, with the sender identified and a working opt-out. Sole traders and some partnerships are individual subscribers, so they are left off the email list unless they have consented. Each employer’s legal form is checked on Companies House before any email. This describes our practice and is not legal advice.
