Pay per close

A success fee on UK contracts your own team closes.

Vivin’s pay per close ties part of our fee to contracts your team signs with buyers we found: a success fee of 5% to 20% of attributed contract value plus USD $497/month. It is available only for eligible B2B offers, confirmed before you sign, and not where professional rules restrict sharing fees.

It differs from the commission-only agent arrangements many UK firms know: the monthly fee covers domains, inboxes and sending infrastructure, and the success fee applies to contracts the agreement attributes to our work.

Not the same as a commission-only agent

Many UK firms have worked with self-employed sales agents paid purely on commission. Pay per close is a company engagement with a written scope: the monthly fee funds the outreach infrastructure, and the percentage rewards contracts we helped bring in. You know both numbers before you sign.

If you sell goods and are weighing up an agent, note that the Commercial Agents (Council Directive) Regulations 1993 cover self-employed intermediaries with continuing authority to negotiate the sale or purchase of goods for a principal. Vivin does not negotiate or sign on your behalf, but take advice on any arrangement before you sign it.

How a close is attributed

Before launch, your CRM gets a source field and our campaigns are mapped to it. The signed agreement sets the attribution window, the exclusions, the evidence and the contract event that counts, such as a signed order or a first invoice.

Opportunities already in your pipeline, renewals and expansions need clear rules, so the agreement settles them before any outreach. The fee base and invoice timing are fixed in writing too.

Who does what

Your salespeople run every sales conversation: the meeting, the demo, pricing, the proposal, negotiation and signature. We find the buyers, qualify them and book the first conversation. For example, a London software company might keep its demos while we find heads of department, or an engineering firm in the North East might keep technical scoping while we open conversations with procurement teams. These are illustrations, not clients.

If deals stall after the first meeting, we can look at your closing process with you and suggest changes; the selling itself stays with your team. Treat signed contracts, invoices and payments as separate events, so an encouraging call is never counted as a close.

A worked example in pounds

Say an attributed contract is worth £40,000 and the agreed rate is 10%. The success fee would be worth £4,000, alongside USD $497/month, which was about £376 at the European Central Bank reference rates on 2 October 2026.

The figures show the arithmetic only. They are not a forecast, a typical deal or a standard rate, and amounts are invoiced in US dollars under the terms of your agreement.

Keep introduced contracts separate from your existing pipeline

For a UK engineering firm, technical scoping and commercial negotiation remain with its own people. Vivin’s work opens qualified buyer conversations and the agreement defines which later contracts are attributed.

Budget for both parts of the engagement

Pay per close is 5% to 20% of attributed contract value plus USD $497/month. Quotes and invoices are in USD. The actual rate and programme duration are agreed in writing, rather than inferred from an illustrative contract value.

  • Map the source field and exclusions before outreach.
  • Decide whether repeat contracts and expansions count.
  • Record the evidence and contract event used for the fee.
  • Confirm what happens to infrastructure access when the programme ends.

Notice and replacements

Either party may end a campaign on 14 days written notice. A delivered lead or appointment can be disputed within 5 business days of delivery under the written criteria, and eligible issues are replaced.

All three models side by side.

Contracts and invoices are in US dollars. Your written quote names the buyer you want, what makes a lead or meeting count and every fee before you sign.

Questions about working with us from the UK.

Short answers to common questions about how we work.

What commission percentage is normal in B2B sales?

We can only speak for our own model: a success fee of 5% to 20% of attributed contract value, agreed per client, plus USD $497/month. Deal size, sales cycle and the buyer profile decide where your rate lands.

Is commission-only sales worth it?

It depends who carries the cost of getting started. A pure commission agent carries it alone, which is why many are selective about what they take on. Pay per close splits it: you cover the infrastructure fee, and the success fee depends on contracts we help bring in.

Is anything paid before a deal closes?

Yes. The USD $497/month is paid monthly during the programme, whether or not a contract has closed yet. The success fee follows attributed contracts.

Who owns the customer relationship?

You do. Contracts are between you and your customer, and the delivered records belong to you.

Do renewals and upsells count towards the success fee?

Only if your agreement says so. Renewals, expansions and how long after the programme a close can still be attributed are all written down before launch.

Do your people ever take over the sale?

No. Pricing, proposals, negotiation and signature stay with your salespeople. We find, qualify and book the buyers; if deals stall, we can review your closing process with you and suggest changes.
